Job Title:                     Clinical Psychologist, Licensed

Summary: Serves as clinical psychologist providing the full range of mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families. Clinical psychologist will also serve as consultant to clinic professionals and associates within the clinic environment and with clinic associates. Position will also require clinical supervision of staff and programs as needed. May function as a department head or Director as behavioral health/substance abuse department grows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Identify psychological, emotional or behavioral issues

Diagnose psychological, emotional or behavioral disorders

Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes

Assist clients with defining goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational vocational development and adjustment

Teach classes to staff and patients if needed.

Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions.

Administer psychological testing and assess results

Provide consultative services to physicians and other health professionals in interpreting psychological testing and evaluations.

Develop and maintain working relationships with local agencies and organizations on behalf of the clinic and patients.

Maintain the strictest standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Assist with development and implementation of behavioral health or substance abuse program policies and processes.

Supervise behavioral health and substance abuse staff as needed.

Maintain high standard of professionalism and ethics.

Be proficient with clinic documentation system.

Appropriate use of medical codes for billing to optimize reimbursement.

Ability to perform psychological testing on all age groups; school aged children, adolescents and adults.

Ability to work in a team setting and maintain collegial relationships with other community providers.

Good attendance and punctuality

Complete charting and billing in an efficient manner.

Able to prioritize workload to meet clinic and patient needs.

Ability to commit to employment of 3 years or more.

Experience with all age groups, addiction and dual diagnosis.

Cultural competence.

Education and/or Experience:


A Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology. PhD preferred. WI license as clinical psychologist required. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a licensed psychologist.

Other Skills and Abilities:


This is a required driver position.

Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and meet eligibility for tribal insurance.

Background Check:

This position is contingent on ability to pass background check required. This position required for eligibility a Caregiver Background Check regarding working with children and/or elderly, and required driver check, to meet eligibility for Tribal Insurance.

Language Skills:

Strong Computer skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Experience working with children.
